<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of accurately performing deterioration determination of a battery, and a deterioration determining method for an electricity storage device in the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: An oxidant gas passage 146 and a fuel gas passage 148 are scavenged by driving an air compressor 36 at a constant current for a designated period by the battery 16 in order to remove moisture in the passages during stoppage of the fuel cell system 10. A deterioration determination section 76 determines deterioration of the battery 16 on the basis of a battery voltage Vbat detected by a voltage sensor 62 when determining that an output current of the battery 16 is at a steady state being at a constant current for a designated period when scavenging. The deterioration determination is to be performed on the basis of the battery voltage Vbat with the battery 16 at a steady state for a designated period, thereby the deterioration determination of the battery 16 can be accurately carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
