<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an analysis of a sugar chain structure of a glycoprotein produced by transgenic silkworm to investigate what kind of structure the sugar chain has. <P>SOLUTION: In the sugar chain of a glycoprotein produced by transgenic silkworm, the glycoprotein having a sugar chain structure in which fucose is not bound to N-acetyl glucosamine on a reducing terminal of the sugar chain is obtained.
