PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage cabinet for home electric appliance capable of preventing dew condensation on the front side and back side within a storage part. SOLUTION: The storage cabinet 1 for home electric appliance is provided with: a cabinet body 2 having the storage part 6b in which an electric appliance to discharge steam when used can be disposed; a mounting base 9 on which the electric appliance is mounted within the storage part 6b; a steam treatment device 13 for discharging the steam discharged from the electric appliance within the storage part 6b to the outside of the storage part 6b; and an open/close door 24 which can open/close the front side of the storage part 6b. Vent holes 27 and 28 are formed in the lower end of the open/close door 24 to generate an air current 30 flowing from the front side of the mounting base 9 upward above the mounting base 9 and an air current 31 passing below the mounting base 9 and flowing upward from the back side of the mounting base 9 when the steam treatment device 13 is operated.
