PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat sliding device which can prevent wrong operation of an operating member. SOLUTION: In this seat sliding device, a lock member 50 fixes (locks) an upper rail 20, which is fixed to a vehicle seat, and a lower rail 30, which is fixed to a vehicle floor through a front and a rear foot, so that they can not be moved relatively to each other. In the lock member 50, a lock claw 55 of a turning member 50b is turned around the center of turn L, which extends in the sliding direction, in response to operation of an operating lever, and the center of turn L is provided in a position separated from the lock claw 55.
