PURIFIED SERUM ALBUMIN, AND IMMUNOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT METHOD

Disclosed is a purified serum albumin which has a minor variation among different lots. Also disclosed is an immunological measurement method which utilizes the purified serum albumin, has high reactivity, and causes few non-specific reactions. Specifically disclosed is a purified serum albumin for use in a blocking solution and/or a suspension of an insoluble carrier in an immunological measurement method. The purified serum albumin comprises, as the main component, a fraction which can be prepared into a 1% aqueous solution having an absorbance of 9.0 mAbs or less as measured at a wavelength of 463 nm and using a quartz cell having an optical path length of 1.0 cm.
