<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gut for a racket, which has superior durability compared with the conventional gut for the racket and having a ball-hitting property similar to that of the natural gut. <P>SOLUTION: The gut for the racket is formed of sea-island type composite mono-filaments composed of thermoplastic resin, wherein the sea components of the composite mono-filaments consist of resin mixture of 99-80 wt.% of polyester-based resin and 1-20 wt.% of compound with imide structure, the gut comprises 90-60 wt.% of the sea components and 10-40 wt.% of the island components, and the number of the island components is 7-25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
