PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image searching device and method which can search an image including many figures efficiently from an image group, image reproducer and reproduction method for reproducing an image searched by the image searching device and method, and an image searching program and an image reproduction program being run on a computer. SOLUTION: An image searching device includes a section 22 for specifying an individual by detecting the face image of a figure included in each of a plurality of images from the plurality of images, and a section 25 for searching an image from the plurality of images such that the number of images is minimized while including all figures included in the plurality of images based on the specification results of an individual from the section 22 for specifying an individual.
