PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage cabinet for home electric appliance permitting the inspection of a steam treatment device from the front side without detaching the steam treatment device. SOLUTION: The storage cabinet 1 for home electric appliance is provided with: a cabinet body 2 which opens on the front side only and which has a storage part 6b in which an electric appliance to discharge steam when used can be stored; and the steam treatment device 13 supported by a support material 14 above the storage part 6b to discharge the steam discharged from the electric appliance to the outside of the storage part 6b. A wiring space 19 to store the wiring 18 of the electric appliance is disposed on the back side of the steam treatment device 13, and the wiring space 19 is separated by a detachable partition plate 20 from the storage part 6b.
