PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylate resin composition which includes siloxane compound as a flame retardant and is excellent in flame retardancy and transparency. SOLUTION: The polyarylate resin composition includes (A) a polyarylate resin pellet and (B) a resin composition pellet comprising a 100 pts.mass polyarylate resin, 0.05-3 pts.mass polyorganosiloxane and a 0.01-1 pt.mass organic acid metal salt, provided that the components (A) and (B) are blended in a mass ratio of from 20/80 to 80/20.
