PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image developer which has low-temperature fixing property, capable of preventing the occurrence of toner fixation for a long period of time to eliminate image defects, an electrostatic image developer not causing image defects, an electrostatic image developer cartridge for housing the electrostatic image developer, and a process cartridge and an image forming device using the electrostatic image developer. SOLUTION: This electrostatic image developer, the cartridge for the electrostatic image developer, the process cartridge, and the image forming device have a toner which includes a core material, and a resin coating layer for coating the surface of the core material. The resin coating layer contains a carrier including copolymers containing nitrogen methacrylic acid ester and alicyclic methacrylic acid ester, and a binder resin including amorphous polyester resin and crystalline polyester resin. The amorphous polyester resin contains alkyl succinic acid or its acid anhydride, or alkenyl succinic acid or its acid anhydride, while the crystalline polyester resin is aliphatic polyester resin.
