<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium wherein the degradation of image quality due to the reduction in precision of alignment among display elements is suppressed, and a display device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A display medium 10 having a plurality of display elements 16 laminated therein comprises: a display part 12 wherein the plurality of display elements 16 are laminated; a substrate 39 for connection provided with a plurality of terminals 37 for wiring correspondingly to each preliminarily divided unit, with a plurality of column electrodes 20 for applying a voltage to one pixel column displayed on the display part 12 as one unit; and a substrate 36 for connection provided with a plurality of terminals 32 for wiring correspondingly to each preliminarily divided unit, with a plurality of column electrodes 20 for applying a voltage to one pixel column displayed on the display part 12 as one unit.
