PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform dynamic range expansion processing during digital sampling of an analog input signal. SOLUTION: The signal processing apparatus extends a dynamic range by sampling and then combining analog input signals of a plurality of systems, to which a predetermined gain difference is applied, through a plurality of respective A/D conversion means 4A, 4B (as many as the plurality of systems). In such a case, a combination ratio of the signals to be combined is determined on the basis of input signals from the plurality of A/D conversion means. Thus, it is possible to prevent, as the prior art which determines the combination ratio only based on an input signal from one A/D conversion means, an erroneous combination ratio from being determined by incurring erroneous detection of an input signal level when a low-level or high-level analog signal is input.
