<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glossy paper for inkjet recording which has satisfactory ink absorbing property, moreover, has brilliancy as high as silver salt photograph, further, is also extremely excellent in resistance to scuffing on a glossy surface, has image quality and homogeneous brilliancy equally matched to a medium manufactured by using a print paper base or a film base and is manufactured by a casting method and is therefore recyclable. <P>SOLUTION: The glossy paper for inkjet recording is cast coat paper which includes: a substrate; at least one ink receptor layer disposed on at least one surface of the substrate; and a brilliancy revealing layer which contains pigment and a binding agent and is mirror-finished, wherein the brilliancy revealing layer contains only spherical colloidal silica of a particle diameter of 10 to 80 nm as the pigment, the binding agent is silanol-modified polyvinyl alcohol and an addition amount of the binding agent is in the range of 3 to 16 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
