<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a window assembly capable of rightly mounting a strip material on a rear face side of a window plate by keeping a joining position of the strip material to be joined to the rear face side of the window plate in a prescribed reference position. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the window assembly 1 includes a process for preparing the strip intermediate material 20A having a long-sized strip material body part 21 and a positioning reference piece part 60, a process for joining the strip intermediate material 20A at an outer peripheral edge 14 of the window plate 10 by keeping a fixed relation by locking the positioning reference piece part 60 at the outer peripheral edge 14, and a process for separating the positioning reference piece part 60 and removing the positioning reference piece part 60 from the strip material body part 21 after joining a joining part of the strip material body part 21 to a joined part of the window plate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
