<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance flexibility for access control about an object. <P>SOLUTION: This information processing system sets, to the object 150, access right reference object information 164 as an attribute item. A user sets information (for example, an object ID of an object other than the object 150) for specifying the other object to refer when conducting the access control to the object 150, to the access right reference object information 164, using an attribute setting part 112. An access control part 130 determines the propriety of permitting an access, while taking not only access control information 166 of the object 150 but also access control information of an object in a referring side indicating by the access right reference object information 164, into consideration, when requested to process the object 150 from the user.
