PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wiring for electrical discharge ignition from being broken and being overheated for extending its lifetime without causing rise in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The wiring 8, which connects a piezoelectric element 7 with a core wire 10 for generating discharge near a burner port 9 of a burner head 4 by the piezoelectric element 7, is inserted into a suction pipe 3 for supplying gas in a housing 1 to the burner head 4. Since the wiring 8 is not exposed outside the suction pipe 3, it is free from being caught by something and broken. Since air-fuel mixture at temperature around the room temperature is circulating in the suction pipe 3, the wiring 8 is basically free from being overheated while using the burner. The wiring 8 does not require installation of a shielding plate for protecting itself, which simplifies a manufacturing process and suppresses an increase in manufacturing cost.
