PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current value measuring method and a device for measuring a current value of a battery accurately without providing separately an exclusive temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a current sensor. SOLUTION: This current value measuring method of the battery in a battery system 1 equipped with a high-voltage battery 10, the current sensor 12 and a pre-charge resistance 13 arranged on the periphery thereof, includes a current value measuring process for measuring an input/output current value of the high-voltage battery 10 by the current sensor 12, and a correction process for correcting the current value measured in the current value measuring process based on a change of a resistance value of the pre-charge resistance 13. The battery system 1 includes a resistance value measuring means 20 for measuring the resistance value of the pre-charge resistance 13 by using the voltage of a battery 6, and the correction process includes the first step of blocking connection between the pre-charge resistance 13 and the high-voltage battery 10, and the second step of connecting the resistance value measuring means 20 to the pre-charge resistance 13.
