<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which printing settings having contents including all setting items set for a plurality of selected output image samples respectively are made by selecting a plurality of the output image samples. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a means of changing current printing setting contents to printing setting contents corresponding to one output image sample when the one output image sample is selected first, and a means of adding setting items which are not included in the current printing setting contents among setting contents which are included in the printing setting contents corresponding to the currently selected output image sample to the current printing setting contents when the one of output image samples are selected from the printing setting history list in a state wherein one or more output image samples are already selected, after a print setting history list is displayed on a display.
