The elastic sash rebate sealing (1) has a support bar (10) which runs approximately parallel to the profile back sections (4). The support bar opens out non-tangentially in the wall (13) of a profile chamber (14) with closed hollow cross-section at its end turned away from the sealing web (9). The profile chamber is connected with the sealing web by a supporting rod running approximately parallel to the support bar. The support bar opens out in the wall of the profile chamber further by the profile back sections and from the sealing web as the support bar (16).
