<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a pigment dispersion capable of affording an inkjet recording ink that exhibits excellent light resistance and excellent accuracy of impact positions after a thermal treatment and can prevent occurrence of image distortion. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the pigment dispersion comprises a step of incorporating a dispersant into at least either one of a pigment solution, having dissolved therein a phthalocyanine pigment (a) and at least one derivative (b) bearing a basic group selected from the group consisting of a pigment derivative obtained by incorporating a basic group into an organic pigment, an anthraquinone derivative bearing a basic group, an acridone derivative bearing a basic group and a triazine derivative bearing a basic group, and an aqueous solvent and mixing the pigment solution with the aqueous solvent thereby to cause the pigment to deposit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
