<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use-by date or date of minimum durability management method in a store of a service area or the like by which cooked food is managed by identifying individual cooked food as an individual. <P>SOLUTION: A merchandise management device including a POS (Point Of Sales) register, a barcode scanner and a barcode printer is arranged in a store of a service area or the like, the use-by date or date of minimum durability management method includes the steps of: performing cooking and packaging the cooked food in the store of the service area or the like; registering data such as the kind of cooked food that has been cooked, included raw materials and cooking time in a database of a merchandise management system; estimating use-by date or date of minimum durability data based on the data such as the registered kind of cooked food and included raw materials and cooking time, and based on the data of the cooking time; printing various data including a barcode for the use-by date or date of minimum durability data of the cooked food and pasting a printed label on the cooked food. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
