<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant optical film having a small absolute value of its photoelastic coefficient and excellent in heat resistance and formability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heat-resistant optical film comprises a styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer (A) and an acrylic resin (B), wherein part of the styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer is a styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer having a lower molecular weight and containing a larger amount of a highly heat-resistant component.
