PURPOSE: A sliding window having an opening degree holding function and a theft preventing function is provided to prevent intrusion of theft by keeping anyone from opening the window from outside. CONSTITUTION: A sliding window having an opening degree holding function and a theft preventing function includes a detachable opening prevention unit(3) which is composed of a body(31), a pair of latches(32), a pair of springs(33), a latch operation mechanism(34), and a link(35). The body includes a rail guide groove(311), a latch operation mechanism installation groove(312), and a pair of latch coupling grooves(313). The rail guide groove is formed on a rail guide groove(211) formed on an upper beam of the window. The latch operation mechanism installation groove is formed on one side of the body in the vertical direction. The latch coupling grooves are formed in the center point of the upper rail guide groove of the body. The latches are inserted in the latch coupling grooves from both sides of the upper rail guide of the body, and installed to rotate around a circular pin hinge(321). The springs help the latches clamp both sides of the rail formed on the upper beam of the window frame. The latch operation mechanism releases a locking function of the latches when the user opens or closes the window by rotating a lever(25). The link delivers the operation of the user to the latches. |
