PURPOSE: An apparatus for pressing the front end of a steel pipe loop structure is provided to prevent gap formed between a steel pipe and the ground and the sinking of the ground by protruding a front end digging unit less than a propulsion supporting pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for pressing the front end of a steel pipe loop structure comprises a propulsion supporting pipe, a digging unit(20) having a curved cross-section and an actuator(30). The propulsion supporting pipe includes a main body, a guide part, a connection part, and a supporting part(14). The main body has the same external diameter as the external diameter of the steel pipe. The guide part is formed more concavely than the other section on the front end girth part. The connection part has a circular cross-section and is extended behind the main body. The connection part is connected to and inserted into the steel pipe. The supporting part has a curved cross section in which one or more discharge holes are formed. The supporting part is welded and connected on the bottom of the guide unit. The digging unit is mounted with is supported with the supporting part of the propulsion supporting pipe. The actuator excavates the ground by moving the digging unit forward and rearward.
