The shaft (6b) has a longitudinal portion (32b) on which on a rotor is mounted, where the longitudinal portion is rotated by the rotor around a longitudinal axis. Rear and front bearing bodies (30b, 37b) maintain and center the shaft in a electrical rotating machine, where the shaft is formed of three parts such that two of the parts of the shaft are formed by the bearing bodies situated at front and rear ends (34b, 40b) of the shaft. The bearing body (30b) is partially inserted into a recess (41b) located at the end (40b) of the shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rotor shaft.
