<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the effect of an interfering wave and to maintain the optimum receiving condition even under the environment, where there is an adjacent channel interference, in a receiving apparatus with a plurality of tuners. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus has a first receiver for frequency-converting a received signal, and a second receiver for frequency-converting the received signal. A parameter for converting a frequency controlled so as to be switched depending on when the first receiver and the second receiver commonly received a signal having a first frequency, respectively, and when the receivers commonly received a signal having a second frequency, respectively.
