<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical appliance achieving an improvement in user convenience by performing different indications on a display unit in accordance with the situation in the case where a removable acceptance unit comprising the display unit is detached, e.g., to provide an electrical appliance for displaying on a display unit an image for correcting abnormality in the case where an acceptance unit is detached under occurrence of the abnormality and for displaying on the display unit an image indicating a job processing status in a case where the acceptance unit is detached during job execution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the case where an acceptance unit 7 is detached from an appliance body, the electrical appliance detects an operational status of the appliance body at a point of time such as waiting, job execution or abnormality occurrence, and displays an image based on a detection result on a display unit 5.
