<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground-fault circuit interrupter in which a stable power source is supplied to a leakage detecting circuit and a tripping device, and a stable test operation is possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The a ground-fault circuit interrupter is provided with: a full-wave rectification circuit in which a rectifying diode in order to rectify an alternate current of the main circuit is bridge-connected; the electric power circuit to step-down the output of this full-wave rectification circuit and to supply it to the leakage detecting circuit and the tripping device; and a test circuit in which by detecting a supply current or impressed voltage of at least one rectifying diode out of several pieces of rectifying diodes of the full-wave rectification circuit, a test current having a phase synchronized with the phase of the alternate current flowing in the main circuit is formed and supplied to a tertiary winding of a zero-phase current transformer.
