PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening structure for the wall surface of a building which includes a three-dimensional planting arranged along the outer wall surface of the building to suppress rise in temperature of the outer wall due to direct sun light so as to reduce thermal load on the surroundings of the outer wall, and cool outer air to be introduced into an air-conditioning machine chamber so as to reduce thermal load on the inside of the building, and excellent in energy saving. SOLUTION: The greening structure for the wall surface of a building is as follows: the outer wall of an air-conditioning machine chamber 1 of the building is formed of a louver 3; the outer surface of the louver 3 is vertically provided with planters 4 in plural steps at intervals so as to perform wall surface greening by plants 5 planted in the planters 4; the outer air cooled by cooling function due to water evaporation of the plants 5 for the wall surface greening is introduced to an air conditioner 2 set up in the air-conditioning chamber 1.
