<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of transferring main image data and auxiliary image data without increase in the number of data transmission line nor speed-up of a transfer rate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is constructed of an LCD controller 17 generating displayed data from the main image data and the auxiliary image data, and a liquid crystal display module 18 receiving the displayed data from the LCD controller 17 through the data transmission line 35 and controlling a liquid crystal display panel 22. The LCD controller 17 generates the display data of bit width or lower of the main image data before bit reduction by assigning the main image data and the auxiliary image data, from each of which a part of bit is reduced, to different bit. The liquid crystal display module 18 generates pseudo narrow view image data, by which average luminance of adjacent pixels on the liquid crystal display panel 22 in normal vision becomes a value matching the main image data and a luminance difference of the adjacent pixels in the normal vision becomes a value matching the auxiliary image data, from the display data.
