<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of image quality of a finally drawn image due to the position of an optical pickup section being displaced with respect to target positions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A drawing apparatus has the optical pickup section 40 that radiates light to a drawing surface of an optical disk through a lens, a first driving section 110 that makes the optical pickup section perform step movement to sequentially arrange the optical pickup section to a plurality of target positions respectively set in advance on the drawing surface, an error calculating section 120 that calculates error values corresponding to the amounts of displacement between the target positions and the position of the optical pickup section actually moved to the target positions by the first driving section so as to correspond to the plurality of target positions respectively, and a second driving section 130 that displaces the lens according to the error value corresponding to the target position of the optical pickup section of this time in synchronization with the step movement of the optical pickup section by the first driving section to arrange the optical pickup section to the plurality of target positions respectively.
