摘要 <p>The method involves developing a digital three dimensional model of a bearing-shaft system. The model is subdivided into multiple discrete volume elements. Hertzian stress in the elements is calculated based on force progression. The model is manually modified when the stress exceeds a preset target value. The model is used for manufacturing a prototype when the stress in none of the elements exceeds the value. Data sequence with data values is determined after end of testing for each rolling body. The model underlying the prototype is manually modified when the sequence exceeds the value.</p>
