<p>A drain plug assembly for a water bourne vessel comprising: a plug housing (1) with a flow path (8) for coupling to the drain of a floatation chamber or volume, a drain plug (2) comprising a plugging member (40) and locking actuator (3), the plugging member (40) being adapted to be installed into the flow path (8) to substantially block the flow path, and the locking actuator (3) being operable to retain the plugging member (40) in the flow path (8) once installed, wherein the locking actuator (3) is not operable until the plugging member (40) is installed.</p> |
