<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater can reduce a refrigerant charging amount without degrading heat exchanging performance. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type water heater includes a first radiator 11 having a refrigerant flow channel and a water flow channel, and exchanging heat between a refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 and the water circulating in a hot water supply circuit 200, and a second radiator 12 having a refrigerant flow channel and a water flow channel and exchanging heat between a refrigerant flowing out from the first radiator 11 and the water circulated in the hot water supply circuit 200. The total cross-sectional area of cross-sectional areas vertical to the flowing direction of the refrigerant flow channel, of the first radiator 11 is smaller than the total cross-sectional area of the cross-sectional areas vertical to the flowing direction of the refrigerant flow channel, of the second radiator 12, further the total cross-sectional area of cross-sectional areas vertical to the flowing direction of the water flow channel, of the first radiator 11 is smaller than the total cross-sectional area of the cross-sectional areas vertical to the flowing direction of the water flow channel, of the second radiator 12, and the refrigerant of a liquid phase state flowing out from the first radiator 11 is allowed to flow into the second radiator 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
