<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a toner density to enhance convenience and operability. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device or the like includes standard density information 155 correlated with application use of a print data and a toner standard density, a toner identification part 101 for identifying application use of toner, based on toner identification information imparted to a toner cartridge, a print data identification part 102 for identifying the application use of the print data, based on a content of the print data, an application use determining part 103 for determininge the consistency of the application use of the identified toner with the application use of the print data, a density acquiring part 104 for acquiring the standard density of the toner corresponding to the application use of the print data from the standard density information 155, when the application use of the toner is matched with the application use of the print data, a density setting part 105 for setting a printing density to the acquired standard density, when the application use of the toner is matched with the application use of the print data, and a printing part 106 for printing the print data at the printing density set to the standard density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
