<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of accurately calculating an environmental load of an overall device even when the device configuration is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 of a PC 1 recognizes the device configuration of the overall PC 1 including an external peripheral equipment fitted to the PC 1, acquires information on carbon dioxide emissions from an environmental load information database 5 in which the information on carbon dioxide emissions is recorded for each component of the recognized device configuration, and finds the sum total of the acquired carbon dioxide emissions, thereby generating environmental load information of the overall PC 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
