<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element easy in replacement of an element part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The filter element 10 is provided with the cylindrically formed element part 30 and an inner cylinder 40 detachably contained in the element part 30. The element part 30 has a second groove. The inner cylinder 40 is provided with a corner part 55 movable between a first position P1 engaged with the second groove and a second position P2 disengaged therefrom, with the inner cylinder 40 contained in the element part 30, and an operation part displacing the corner part 55 between the first position P1 and second position P2.
