<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic winder capable of sorting out and ejecting a bobbin based on a state of the bobbin (presence/absence of yarn, quality of yarn). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automatic winder 100 includes a plurality of take-up units 1. The take-up unit 1 holds a bobbin 7 for yarn feeding and has a bobbin holding part 20 displaceable to a plurality of positions. The bobbin holding part 20 is displaced so as to be ejected to at least two ejection positions (first bobbin ejection position 95, second bobbin ejection position 96), and thereby, the bobbin 7 for yarn feeding is sorted out and ejected to the ejection position (first bobbin ejection position 95, second bobbin ejection position 96) based on the state.
