The air supply passage of a culture apparatus is simplified without impairing the advantages of a conventional culture apparatus. The culture apparatus (10) comprises the rows (11) of a plurality of box-shaped containers (21) for crop culture and the rows (12) of lower-stage containers (21) which are disposed under the rows (11) and which hold the upper-stage containers (21) at an interval larger than the height of a crop to be cultured during the growing. Each container (21) comprises struts (22) for supporting the upper-stage container (21) and insulation films (24) pasted on the front and rear surfaces of the container (21), respectively, between the right and left side struts. An air conditioner (17) is disposed at one ends of the rows (11, 12) of the containers (21), and a direction changing chamber (14) is formed at the other ends. |
