<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide operation type switch capable of thinning. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slide operation type switch includes: a slide operation detecting part for detecting operation of a slider 5 into a slide direction; and a pressing operation detecting part for detecting the operation of the slider 5 into a pressing direction in a case C. The case C is constituted of sidewalls 22 arranged at positions of respective sides of a square and a bottom wall 21; and this bottom wall 21 is constituted of a printed-circuit board in which an electrode is formed by a technology of printed wiring.
