TOOL FOR MOUNTING GAS METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for mounting a gas meter that mounts the gas meter by strongly clamping a cap nut while securing an accurate mounting attitude of the gas meter. SOLUTION: This tool 1 for mounting the gas meter is used for mounting work of the gas meter 2 performed by connecting an inflow pipe section 3 and an outflow pipe section 4 arranged and projected in parallel on the upper part of the gas meter 2 to an upstream pipe section 6 and downstream pipe section 7 of the gas pipe 5 arranged in parallel by clamping of the cap nut 8. A pair of hook sections 10 for pressing each of the pipe sections 6 and 7 of the gas pipe 5 are disposed at the tip of a handle 15 of the tool 1. One hook section 10 is used as a front side pressing section 11 for pressing one pipe section 6(7) of the gas pipe 5 from the front side. The other hook section 10 is used as a back side pressing section 12 for pressing the other pipe section 7(6) of the gas pipe 5 from the back side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
