<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of achieving accurate insertion of a needle without pain, controlled depth of insertion of the needle and transdermal transportation of a substance including an active ingredient by fixing a vacuum generator combined with a transdermal transport device using a microneedle to the skin. <P>SOLUTION: The transdermal transport device 10 includes a storage chamber for holding the substance including a specific component, and at least one needle 14. Each needle has a bore through which the substance passes when the substance is transported between the storage chamber and the living body, and further has an end part arranged on a plane parallel to the surface of the living body when the device is mounted on the body surface of the living body. The device further includes the vacuum generator 28. The vacuum generator generates suction force to lift a part of the body surface upward from the plane, and the end of the needle penetrates the part of the body surface when the needle is moved along an axis approximately parallel to the plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
