摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power of a radiation image detector by reducing the effect of a dark current generated in a photoelectric conversion element and greatly reducing the number of reset operations in the radiation image detector. <P>SOLUTION: A second photoelectric conversion element detecting light converted by a scintillator element and a first photoelectric conversion element having the same photoelectric conversion characteristics as the second photoelectric conversion element and shielded against light are connected in series in the same direction for each pixel. Thus, the dark currents of the two photoelectric conversion elements are canceled out, and only a signal current corresponding to the incident light intensity is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
