<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which has made an adhesive prevented from flowing out to the channel while accurately positioning a conduit formation substrate and a joining substrate to join them and to cement both substrates well by the adhesive, its manufacturing method and a liquid jet apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Two or more first recesses 16 are provided in the conduit formation substrate 10 and two or more second recesses 23 corresponding to each of the first recesses 16 are provided in the joining substrate 20, and the liquid jet head has a globular engagement member 25 consisting of hard material which is engaged with the first and second recesses 16, 23, respectively. The engagement member 25 has a magnitude enabling the center of the engagement member 25 to be located outside the first and second recesses 16, 23 in the state of this member having been engaged with the first and second recesses 16, 23. The conduit formation substrate 10 and the joining substrate 20 are joined by the adhesive 22 in the state that a predetermined space between both substrates has been assured by the engagement member 25.
