<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demister device incorporated in a horizontally extended duct increased in water removing efficiency, with a compact installation space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The demister device 1 incorporated in the horizontally extended duct 2 includes a filter element 3 downwardly and tiltedly disposed from upstream of the duct 2 toward downstream, an upper end support member 4 supporting an upper end 3a of the filter element 3 on an upper inner wall in the duct 2, a lower end support member 6 supporting a lower end 3b of the filter element 3 on a lower inner wall of the duct 2 and forming a bypass part 5 passing air from upstream of a flow path S in the duct 2 toward downstream, and a draining part 7 provided on the inner wall of the duct 2 under the filter element 3.
