<p>A touch panel (X) according to the first embodiment of the present invention comprises a first substrate (11) having a first major surface (15), a second major surface (16) and a recess (17) formed in the second major surface (16), and a second substrate (21) so arranged as to face the first major surface (15). The touch panel (X) also comprises a light-diffusing particle (18) which is at least partially arranged in the recess (17). The first substrate (11) is composed, for example, of a glass. The light-diffusing particle (18) is preferably polyhedral. It is further preferable that the light-diffusing particle (18) is composed of the same material as the first substrate (11).</p> |
