<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste by which neither blue smoke nor odor is produced without requiring an advanced treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Components of high water content among domestic waste are treated by methane fermentation in a methane fermentation installation (1) and components except the components of high water content are treated by incineration in an incineration installation (6) or melting in a melting installation (8). In an ammonia nitrogen removing installation (2), ammonia nitrogen in first waste water which is subjected to methane fermentation treatment and is discharged from the methane fermentation installation (1) is removed so that ammonia nitrogen concentration is≤0.1 kg in 1m<SP>3</SP>waste water. In a gas cooling tower or a temperature dropping device (5), second waste water from which the ammonia nitrogen is removed is sprayed to exhaust gas discharged from the incineration installation (6) or the melting installation (8) to drop temperature of the exhaust gas and to solidify dissolved materials contained in the second waste water to solid materials which can be subjected to filtering treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
