<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation instrument which uses natural wind in one window without using electric energy, safe and excellent in ventilation efficiency, low in cost, and easy to be mounted on various shapes of windows. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ventilation instrument characterized by a pair of the slats for taking in and exhausting wind is mounted to a window and around the window. As for a pair of the slats, slats (changing a wind direction) 5 or combination of the slat 5 or a wind stabilizing slat 7, which project outward from a wall mounted with the window, are mounted to the window to laterally or vertically form a pair. Wind flowing along a wall of a building is guided into a room by the slat of the window opening on the taking in side, and the room air with increased atmospheric pressure is pushed out of the room from a window opening on the exhaust side by Pascal's law.
