<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment device of which the whole is made compact while maintaining its treatment capacity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Waste water is charged into a mixing tank 1, and thereafter, an operator charges a prescribed amount of flocculant thereto, so as to prepare a mixed liquid of the waste water and the flocculant. Next, the mixed liquid in the mixing tank 1 is fed into a flocculation-membrane separation tank 2, so as to be flocculated, and is subjected to membrane separation treatment by a separation membrane module 5. Then, the penetrated liquid after the membrane separation, is fed to a water storage tank 4, and sludge stored in the flocculation-membrane separation tank 2 is fed to a sludge storage tank 3.
