PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus for reducing the degree of disadvantages to a player and reducing a gambling property for a game. SOLUTION: The game apparatus (card unit 8) detects that a specific game state (big winning) advantageous to a player is attained on the basis of game state information (big winning signals) from a game machine 4 and executes lending processing of lending game media using a game value specified from recording information recorded in a recording medium. The game apparatus includes: a using game value specifying section (CPU 30) for specifying the size of the game value used in the lending processing after a prescribed determination start condition is established; a using game value determination section (CPU) for determining that the specified size of the game value has become a defined without detecting that the specified game state is attained; and an addition section (CPU) for performing addition processing for adding the size of the prescribed amount of the game value when it is determined that the predetermined size of the game value has become the defined.
